Wallpaper Removal
Sometimes Wallpaper Removal is not fun – These are a series of photos of a clients home where we removed some wallpaper. Now that’s a wallpaper you’d want to get rid of – Oh Yeah! anyway we pulled the front off and sometimes when we do this we find interesting preparation underneath. On this job the person had repaired some drywall and not primed the walls. We had to steam some of the paper off ( that’s my last resort – using a steamer ) but sometimes it’s the only way to get the paper off.
Then we have to wash off the glue and patch the walls. When I’m pricing wallpaper I usually give a price for removing the paper, washing and minimum patching. If there is any major problems we find, that is extra ( because we can’t see them when estimating ) Anyway everything always works out all right in the end. I don’t have any photos after we’re done but you can see what surprises we find underneath, Wallpaper Removal - Not Fun!
