Tip #1
So your looking for tips, I don’t blame you I’m always looking for ways to do things better myself!
Use Good Brushes!
You can’t cut a good line with a brush from the dollar store.
I use 2 1/2″ nylon polyester brushes with an angle tip and not too wide.
Some people use Purdy brushes which might cost $25 but you should be able to get a decent brush from Benjamin Moore or ICI for $12.00 retail.
Keep your brush clean – wash it out during the day and at the end of the day. I shake out all the water (I don’t like spinning) and put all the fibres like they were when it was first new and it will be ready for your next project.
I use these brushes for latex and oil but the life will not be as long when using oil.

Painting a great room can be quite a job as they are almost 20 feet high most of the time and to get a professional look is not something a do it yourselfer will be able to acheive very easily. This was a residential home and the client was very good with design and colors. In the end we enjoyed the finished look and I ended up with some great photos as well.
