Painting Tips

Tip #1

So your looking for tips? I’m always looking for ways to do things better myself!

Use Good Brushes!

You can’t cut a good line with a brush from the dollar store.

I use 2″ nylon polyester brushes with an angle tip and not too wide.

Some people use Purdy brushes which might cost $25 but you should be able to get a decent brush from Benjamin Moore or Dulux for $12.00 retail.

Keep your brush clean – wash it out during the day and at the end of the day. I shake out all the water (I don’t like spinning) and put all the fibres like they were when it was first new and it will be ready for your next project.

I use these brushes for latex and oil but the life will not be as long when using oil.
